Homemade applesauce recipe

Hey Guys!!

I'm here with the recipe just as i promised!!

It's a very simple recipe with a not-so-good-looking outcome but with an unexpected awesome deliciousness!!

You'd probably notice that the quantity is very less...that's cos i was totally experimenting and ended up with this yummilicious applesauce!! When i was looking for the recipe i was flooded with soo many different recipes online but this one stood out!
I know the looks are'nt quite appealing, however the taste is too good to be true- provided, the ingredients are very less!

You're self-control will be tested here on so many levels cos you'll want to scoop it out from the jar n shove it down your mouth.... We can't let that happen, can we?!

So here's the step by step  procedure on how to go about it!!I required only one apple for the bread that i was making and did'nt want to waste much but you can go ahead and double or triple this recipe!

Take an apple and peel the skin as shown.

Cut it into pieces. It looks pretty to cut it and plate it like that but it is totally impractical to cook such huge pieces. So cut it into smaller pieces.

Take a heavy bottomed pan/vessel and add water till half way through the apples and add 2 teaspoons of cinnamon powder and 5-6 drops of lemon juice. Cook it on medium heat for 20 minutes.

Once its's done cool it for a while and start smashing it with a fork until it breaks down.... We want a chunky applesauce hence this procedure. On the other hand you can also blend it in a mixie or blender until it is fine. Suit yourself and Voila! Here you have your very own homemade applesauce staring right back at you and tempting you to indulge! ~

You can also put it in a jar/air tight container and store it for later.
