TOP 10 PLACES TO VISIT IN GOA

Hey Guys!!
I just wanted to do a seperate post on the top 10 places to visit in goa!! I've written a detailed review about goa here - Click here  !!!

Goa is not only beaches n party, you know?! There are other great places that you need to visit also!! Here's my list!!

1. Chapora Fort

The view from up here is overwhelming!! You can see the hills and the river meet and its  stunning!! You'd probably witness different shades of green like never before(Heights of it during the monsoon!) It takes 30 mins of travel from Calangute to reach here and the ride will make you fall in love with the nature!! Completely flooring!! You can also visit  Anjuna beach and chapora beach which is nearby! Oh!! Just remember to wear some sports shoes for this one cos you might be climbing a bit!!

View from chapora fort below.

2. Fontainhas
As i had mentioned earlier in my previous post, this place is vibrant and colorful cos the buildings here are europen inspired!! It literally feels like you're abroad!! Great location to take pictures!!! Every lane can be explored and you can get a sneak peak of the vintage furniture and crockery in some houses too!! But please don't stalk anyone...Just saying!!

3. Aguda Fort
No!! This fort is nothing like chapora!! It has a beauty of its own!!! A great view too but you have to go see it to believe what I'm trying to say!! This is a must!!! The ride to this fort is awesome aswell!! You'll come across a lot of trees arching above your head and feel like an Alice lost in wonderland!! Well... It's more than a wonderland...That much i can tell you!!

4. Dudhsagar Falls
This falls is supposedly called the sea of milk!! Apparently the water that flows from great heights are so white that it literally looks like milk!! Since monsoon was'nt a good time for us to go there we completely overlooked on this one!! However, make it a point to visit this place and take a cold dump in the milky water!!! :P
You'll be asked to take a jeep for ₹400 per person which will take you through a very very bumpy road! After which you'll be asked to buy life jackets which costs around ₹100!

5.Bascilica of BOM Jesus
This is a heritage site!! Been there for hundreds and hundreds of years!! Contains the body of Saint Francis!! Take a guide or else you're not gonna understand anything!! Also, make sure to take a hard copy of the photograph from the guys outside....just for keepsake!!!

6. Aldona Village

A typical village setup with lots of greens everywhere!!

7. Anjuna Beach
This beach is nearer to chapora fort!! The day we went, the sea was pretty rough with some high tides!! It was quite wild that we got scared n left a few minutes later...N Oh!! It actually started pouring heavily n we had to run n find shelter nearby!!Take a look at the picture below n you'll understand what I'm talkning about!!

8. Baga Beach
Some might fall off their chair/seat/sofa/from wherever you're sitting, when you're going to read this but i have to say it!! Baga beach is one of the cleanest beaches in goa!!Whew... I got that off!! Atleast it was on the day n time n season that i went!! There are life guards who constantly keep monitoring the waves and the tide so, you don't have to be worried about getting swept away by the waves!!
For people who'd like to party, the all-so-famous Tito's pub is nearby and you can party as hard as you want!!!
This is a crowded beach!! I'm warning you!!

9. Ingo's Saturday night bazaar
This is the best place you can shop!! It has everything you want and its open on saturdays starting from 6pm!! It is closed during the monsoon....such a bummer!!!

10.The Deltin Royale Casino boat
Just to get the feel of a casino you can visit this!!!It's ₹300 for an hour and the price range increases as the time does!!! I heard it have a whole lot of games!! Yeah...clearly i did not go!!!

I hope you liked this post!! Here I'll leave you with this beautiful picture of the sea in goa!!

Thank You!!!
